机械类专业是为各行各业制造并提供机械设备和电气装置的部门，被誉为“国民经济的装备部〞。由于机械行业的重要性和庞大规模，需要一支庞大的专业人才队伍。今后一段时间内，机械类人才仍会有较大需求。具有开发能力的数控人才将成为各企业争夺的目标，机械设计制造与加工专业人才近年供需比也很高。从机械行业开展来看，印刷机械、数控机床、发电设备、工程机械等重头产品前景仍看好。除了这些传统工业领域，该行业将进一步向机光电一体化开展，向光加工、环保这样的新兴领域拓展。

2机制专业11级毕业生就业分析
本校11级机制专业55名学长学姐参加了在线调查问卷，问卷围绕着就业行业分布、就业地区分布、工作的的满意度、期望薪资和平均起薪情况等问题展开。
就行业分布和区域分布而言，大多数毕业生就职选择了制造业，有一局部选择了教育和科研行业，究其原因，很可能是机制专业本身的特点所致，机制展业要求有较好的理论运用能力和动手实践能力，选择制造业可以很好地迎合企业对人才的要求。
至于区域分布，大局部求职毕业生选择了江沪浙和珠三角地区，快速开展的大城市自然是交通、文化、效劳水平和薪资待遇较高的地方，也是“群贤毕至〞的地方。很少有人选择东北方，按理说东北三省以哈尔冰、长春、沈阳大连为首的开展城市，对人才的需求也比拟大，下方的京津冀一带更是如此。也可能是由于地域差异，多数本省毕业生不愿前往。
