以沈阳物流公共信息平台、通通中国网、中运物流网为代表的物流信息网络体系已初步形成。大局部物流企业自行开发、购入和租用了物流信息网络管理系统，采用GPS系统、条码等技术，建立了较为完善的物流信息管理系统，有效提高了物流信息化管理水平。
(二)存在问题
现行物流业的分行业管理，行业间缺乏融合和协调,制约了我市物流业的开展。%，%；社会物流总费用与GDP的比率仍高出兴旺国家1倍左右。
多数企业对于物流效劳关注的仅限于物流本钱的降低，没有上升到整体供给链

优化的高度，只以“单环节、多供给商〞外包模式为主，大局部物流企业只是承当某一个环节的物流业务，如运输、仓储、配送等，难以提供高效率的现代物流效劳，存在附加值低、本钱高、市场乱等问题。
我市物流企业分布较分散，规模较小，缺少带动力强、辐射面广、效劳范围大的龙头企业，产业集聚程度低，“封闭、集约、综合、社会化〞的物流园区尚未形成，与我市建设东北地区物流中心城市的目标不相称。
二、面临的机遇和挑战
(一)面临的机遇
一是全球经济化及区域经济一体化将推动我市经济市场化、国际化的进程，快速增加我市物流业务总量，扩大我市物流效劳辐射影响范围。
二是随着沈阳经济区的改革开展和辽宁沿海经济带的开发开放，以及沈阳经济区一体化、城际连接带新城和新市镇建设加快，我市物流业的集聚功能将稳步增强，物流开展定位和效劳层级将进一步提升。
三是我市以铁西为核心打造具有国际竞争力的先进装备制造业基地，进一步推动物流业与制造业联动开展，有利于提高物流企业供给链一体化效劳能力。
(二)面临的挑战
一是资源和效益的挑战。物流根底设施建设具有社会效益大，企业效益相对小，
