1、油烟机的种类
油烟机以目前状况可以分欧式、中式近吸式〔侧吸式〕几类。
中式可分薄型及简型。简型中又分为深型及亚深型。就电机及风轮的数量可分：双机及单机。以吸气的方式可分：顶吸式和侧吸式〔含斜吸式〕。从积停沥油方式可分为：双油路、三油路〔气室沥淅油，防护罩沥油及风运沥淅油〕。从集烟室结构分有：单层〔三油路〕、双层内旦式〔双油路〕，近吸式双称侧吸式等。
欧式一般有E、T两种表达方式，E是europe的缩写，代表欧式，T是塔式的缩写，还有一些企业在产品型号的最好加上一个B也代表欧式烟机，含义是薄型机，B是薄型的首字母。绝大局部情况下，M或者S代表中式烟机，因为早期行业内也把中式烟机叫座深罩式烟机，M是免拆洗的首字母，S是深罩式的首字母，因为中式烟机都是深罩式的结构。
侧吸式烟机通常用JX代表，因为侧吸式最早兴起的时候，被业界普遍称作近吸式，缘于它的安装都是靠近燃气灶。
欧式抽油烟机
一般参照欧美国家的饮食****惯设计，欧美人的烹饪中一般油烟产生的较少，所以小排量的抽油烟机就可以满足需要了，这也是为什么欧美国家的厨柜大多为开放式的原因之一。
