at the end of 在⋯ 尽头，在 ⋯ 末尾 at the end of the road / film
区分： in the end = finally = at last 最终，最后

① take turns to do sth. 轮流做某事 We take turns to clean the classrooms.
17. He may ask one of our classmates to give the speech instead of you.
他会叫一个同学代替你演讲。
instead of = in place of 代替，取代
I went there by bus instead of on foot. =I went there by bus in place of on foot.
区分： instead of“ 代替，取代” / instead 代替，相反地。
但 instead of 后面接名词，代词等。 Instead 常用于句末或句首，后不接词语。
She will go to Beijing instead of me.
I won ’ t go to Beijing. Instead, she will go to Beijing.

It will take them a day to finish the work.
