 随着听力训练成为中学乃至小学的英语教学内容,怎样训练学生的听力便成了值得讨论的问题。在母语教 学中从来没有听力课程的设置,因为学****母语是先学会说话,,学****母he zoo very much,a nd he also liked going bytrain。He said,”I dreamed about the zoo last night,Mommy."
    His mother was in a hurry,but she stopped and smiled ather small son."You did,Teddy?"She said。”And what did you doin the zoo in your dream?"
    Teddy laughed and answered,”You know,Mommy!You were therein my dream too."
    根据Global listening策略的要求,可以设计以下三个问题,让学生在听前考虑.
    ①Where was going to take her son on Saturdaymorning?
    ②What did her son dream about last night?
    ④Why did her son laugh when Mrs. Edward asked what hedid in his dream?
    以上问题可以帮助学生做好如下听前准备工作:
    1。 借助问题中的提示进展听前的预测活动:利用问题①中出现的Mrs. Edward, her son, Saturday mor ning等词,预测故事中的人物和时间;问题②可以使学生猜测到男孩昨天晚上做梦了;问题③能让学生意识到 ,并且预先知道了问话的内容。这些联想活动会使学生对要听的内容和相关 的词汇有一定的理解,从而防止听的过程中产生的紧张心理。
    2。通过这三个问题的编排,不仅为学生提出了听的详细任务,而且也为完成任务提供了听的过程中可以追 寻的线索:zoo (题①的答案),dream(题②中的关键词),you were in my dream (儿子对妈妈问话的回 答).这三个问题的答案正是故事的主要内容。
    一般程度的学生假设做好了上述准备,在听的过程中就能比较容易地找到题①和题②的答案。程度较高的 学生也可能会将题③的答案一并做出。为了使全体学生都能领悟故事的幽默之处,通常情况下,还要针对问题 ③进展有选择地听。
    Selective Listening
    Selective listening 的目的是培养学生能听出一些详细信息的才能,尤其是从语言程度略高于他们实际 :
