Abstract Objective:TostudytheeffectsofJiangniaosuanprescriptiononendothelialnitricoxidesynthase(eNOS)andendothe
lin(ET)inratswithhypoxanthineandadenineinduceduricacid(UA)nephropathy.Methods:Forty8weekoldmaleSDratsof
SPFgradewererandomlydividedintoanormalgroup,amodelgroup,anallopurinolgroup,andaJiangniaosuanprescriptiongroup,
with10ratsineachgroup.Thenormalgroupwasgiven2ml/dacidifiedwaterbygavagetwiceaday.Allgroupsweregivenhypo
xanthine1500mg/(kg·d)andadenine100mg/(kg·d)inthemorningfor4weeksexceptthenormalgroup.Themodelgroup
wasgiven2mL/dacidifiedwaterbygavageintheafternoonfor4weeks.Theallopurinolgroupwasgivenallopurinol(25mg/
100g)bygavageintheafternoon.TheJiangniaosuanprescriptiongroupwasgivenJiangniaosuanprescription16g/(100g·mL)
bygavageintheafternoon.Theratsweresacrificedafter4weektreatment,andtheserum creatinine(Scr),bloodureanitrogen
(BUN),andUAweredetected.Therenalfunctionofratswasobserved,andtherenalendotheliallesionwasmeasuredbyelectron
