e early 20th century, Ladurée of Paris created the colorful macaron
flavors of cream
in its present form with a wide variety of colors and flavors. From that moment the pastry
knows a new wave of success in the capital.
In 1993, pastry chef François Payard offered this small biscuit to customers at the
Daniel restaurant in New York. And of course, it's a success! So, macaron, considered one
of the symbols of French sweets, gains an international fame.
