Overview of Transparent Absorbers

Abstract: The absorber is a periodic structure with lossy characteristics, which can absorb electromagnetic waves,
convert electromagnetic energy into heat energy, and reduce the reflected electromagnetic wave energy. With the
specialization of application scenarios, the absorber is developing in the direction of particular fields, specific functions, and
more pertinence. Due to the increasing demand for anti-electromagnetic interference in various application environments
containing optical windows, the optical transparency of absorbers has become a research hotspot. In order to have a
systematic understanding of the development status of transparent absorbers. In this article, the research status of visible light
