Academic analysis:学生在第一册中已学过名词的单数形式,已学过“What is this?”,本课就是在些根底上学****What are these?” “They are ……”。再拓展到“Are these peaches?”, “Yes, they are。 (No, they aren’t。)" .本课希望通过实物和图片来让学生认读和理解新的英语单词,掌握新的句型。课中通过学生的看、摸、猜等形式来进步学生的兴趣,让师生共同营造快乐的课堂气氛。

Step2 Review
1. Ask and answer

2) What color is the pencil? ……
3) Is that a red book? ……
2. Free talk
1) Let’s talk about our friends。 ( I am tall. Jenny is small。 Ken is big。 ……)
2) Let’s talk about colors.( I like purple. My mother likes red. ……)
3) Let’s talk about our rooms。 ( This is my room。 It is a bed。 That is my pillow ……)
Step3 Showtime
Let pupils to talk what do they like or they can do.

Step4 New teaching
Show a picture of banana
To ask “ What is this?” S: It’s a banana.
Show a picture of two bananas
To ask “What are these? " S:They're bananas.
Read them after me by the pictures.
Listen and draw
Two or three pupils come to the blackboard.
