Many judicial decisions are closely related to social issues and many of them are involved with administrative management. Courts are very difficult to make dicisions on many problems and much coordination is needed;

Challenges of Current Environmental Justice in China:
企业的短期行为和政府官员不科学的政绩观，没有很好处理发展和保护问题，法院作为事后的补救性解决途径，很难有效解决环境污染问题；
Short-sighted behaviors of enterprises and unscientific achievement views of government officials cannot deal with the issue of development and protection; as a platform for afterward-solutions, it's difficult for courts to solve environmental pollution effectively;
2)法院目前的超负荷工作，和环境案件的高度专业性，目前法院很难组织精干力量审理环境案件；Because of overload of courts and highly professional attributes of environmental cases, it's difficult for courts to organize strong forces to try environmental cases;
3) 公众的环境知情权、表达权、监督权得不到有效保障；
Public access to environmental information, right of expression and right of supervision are effectively guaranteed;
4)公益诉讼的受案范围和标准不明确；
Scope and standards of acceptance of public interest litigation are not clear.
