tive quality indicators，patient satisfaction and incidence of nursing adverse events were compared between 2011 and
2012. Results Compared with 2011，the nursing-sensitive quality indicators in 2012 were significantly improved in
the implementation rate of grading nursing，nurses' qualified rate of specialist skills and patient identification rate
（P<）；patient satisfaction was significantly increased in basic nursing，nurses' service attitudes and nurses' special-
ist skills（P<）；the incidence of nursing adverse events was significantly reduced（P<）. Conclusion Nursing-
sensitive quality indicators provide a scientific tool for nursing quality assessment and promote the continuous
improvement of nursing quality.
