As an important hub of supply chain , port has contributed to the economic development of its hinterlands as well as the port city. At the same time, the economic prosperity of the region has led to the development of port logistics. This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of Qingdao port logistics based parative analysis and SWOT analysis. And then it makes a research of the relationship between Qingdao port logistics and regional economic development with empirical analysis of the time series model. This part adopts ADF test, Cointegration test and Granger causality test to analyze the causal relationship between Qingdao port cargo throughput capacity and Qingdao GDP and Shandong GDP, in accordance with the relevant data of 1987-2012 years.
