McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Server
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator EventParser
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Discovery & Notification Service (ePO only)
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Application server (ePO only)
Click Start, Run..., type: explorer and click OK.
Navigate to the following folder and double-click :
Default installation path for ePO / : ...\Program Files\Network Associates\ePO\\
Default path on a new ePO installation: ...\Program Files\McAfee\ePO\\
Enter the appropriate server name in Database Server Name and change Backup file path if required to a location with ample hard drive space.
Click Back up.
Copy the file to a location accessible from the target SQL server.
Step 2 - Import the backed up database on the new SQL Server:
Open SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
Expand Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Group, (local) (Windows NT), Databases.
Right-click Databases and select New Database....
In the Name: field, provide the name ePO_<servername> (where <servername> is the name of the original ePO server) and click OK. The new database should appear in the list.
