It represents the history of discipline formation of life science and their relations, and discloses the essence of natural science. The life science history also proves that the process of knowledge generation is the process of inquiry,and there exist contradictions and debates between scientists during the course of inquiring, and there are close connection between a essful experiment and a fitful choice of experimental object. Finally ,the life science history represents the scientific attitude, scientific spirit and scientific world outlook,which have great significance in cultivating students' biological quality and scientific quality and play an important role in inquiry-based learning.
