Polymer tensile test
purpose
Determination of tensile strength and mechanical properties of plastics used in tional standard GB1040-1992, to determine the tensile strength, tensile fracture stress, tensile yield stress and yield index bias force, elongation and other mechanical properties. The tensile stress-strain curves of the three typical plastics are shown in figure 1.
Figure 1 plastic tensile stress-strain curve
Tensile strength tl- strain; tensile strength tl- epsilon Sigma t2-: tensile stress: strain t2- tensile fracture of t3~: tensile stress: strain t3~ yield; t4- offset yield stress: strain t4- offset yield when A-; B- has the toughness of brittle materials: the yield point of material: ductile material C~ without yield point.
According to the national standard test loading speed with the following nine types: 1 mm/min (+ 50%), mm/min (2 + 20%), 5mm/min (+ 20%), mm/min (10 + 20%), mm/min (20 + 10%), mm/min (50 + 10%), mm/min (100 + 10%), mm/min (200 500 + 10%), mm/ min (+ 10%), see the corresponding numerical speed error in brackets. The loading speed at the test should be the minimum speed that the sample can break in the 0. 5-5min test time.
