测试内容包括一般性内容和实用内容，所译句子特点是：（1）句子较长，其中包括定语从句、状语从句等从属结构，致使句子结构复杂，意思不容易把握。（2）句inda as a doctor.

③ 省略法
省略作主语的人称代词，尤其是当前句出一个主语，后句仍为同一个主语时，或主语是泛指人称代词时。
I am 30 years old and I have been working in this factory for 10 years.
If we heat the water, it may become vapor.
省略物主代词
I wash my face in the morning. He put his hand in his pocket.

省略“ it”。只讲三种用法，即用作人称代词、非人称代词和帮助构成强调句型。

省略连词
We know it is going to rain because it is very cloudy outside.
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
省略冠词：英语有冠词而汉语没有，因此英译汉时要省略。
The computer plays an important role in our lives.
省略前置词：通常表示时间和地点的英语前置词译成汉语时，如出现在句首都可以省略。

（2）句子成分转译
英汉两种语言，表达方式不同，翻译时，有时需转换一下句子成分才能达到使译文达到逻辑正确、通畅的效果。为了使译文更符合母语表达****惯，句子中的主语、谓语、宾语、定语、状语都可以转译为其他句子成分。
句子的主语可以转译成汉语中的定语、宾语、状语等，谓语可转译为定语，宾语可转译为主语，定语可转译为谓语和状语等。

（3）否定句的译法
否定句的常见翻译方法有正义反译和反义正译：
常需正义反译的词和短语有：deny否定，否决；miss错过；live up one’s expectations不辜负；be at a loss不知所措；rather than而不是；
Some interviewees lose their chance simply because they fail to display self-confidence.
他们未能表现出自信而失去了机会。
