METHODS: The plasma levels of von willebrand factor ∶ antigen (vWF ∶ Ag) and granule membrane protEin140 ( GMP140 ) were measured by double sandwich ELISA. The adhesiveness of platelet was determined by Salzmans method. RESULTS: The plasma levels of vWF ∶ Ag ( ± )%, GMP140 ( ± )μ g/L and PAdT ( ± )% of type 2 diabetes were significantly higher than those of normal controls ( ); The plasma levels of these markers in the group of type 2 diabetes with plication were higher than those in the one without plication ( ); plasma levels of GMP140 and PAdT were 2 positively correlated with those of vWF ∶ Ag [( ± )%, ( ± )μ g/L ,( ± )% , r=, , ]. CONCLUSION: Type 2 diabetes can cause vascular endothelial cell injury, platelet activation and functional status change.
