PURPOSE
To define the procedure used to assess Finished Goods’ compliance to product and engineerred changes and time to complete. Report results as part of EP Report.
Verify views and accuracy of Instruction Manual.
Verify BOM accuracy.
Verify Artwork is correct and accurate.
Review final packaging and report any noted issues or recommendations / concerns.
Compare EP units to CFR / Workmanship Standards.
Perform functional test (Use as a consumer would).
Review and comment on final engineering prototype models. Report any noted issues or recommendations.
Conduct a cross-build of EP units to confirm fit and function and process capability of processes to produce components from tooling. Report any issues or recommendations.
Submit samples to certification / third party testing as required and requested.
Factory/Supplier
To provide Product Engineering – Asia Operations with documentation (drawings) referencing completed tooling / process plan relating to the model being reviewed.
To conduct internal review of model and provide comments to Product Engineering – Asia Operations and US NPDT.
For all off tool components complete metrology reports and provide First Piece Inspection (FPI) documentation to Product Engineering – Asia Operations and Operations Team – Asia Ope
