A New Very Late Ripening Citrus Cultivar‘Jinlegan’

Abstract:The new citrus cultivar‘Jinlegan’is derived from a branch mutant of‘Shiranuhi’. The
fruit is seedless,obovate shaped,covered with golden-yellow peel. Most of the fruits are short-necked. The
average single fruit weight is g. Content of both total soluble solid(TSS)and titratable acid(TA)
is higher than that of‘Shiranuhi’at the same stage,however,TA content declined slower. The highest
content of TSS is %,and the lowest content of TA per 100 mL juice of‘Jinlegan’is g. The texture
of fruit pulp is crisper and tenderer than that of‘
