Strengthening the honesty and self-discipline of leading cadres h工作的前提条件。镇人大主席团成员始终注重自身建设，认真学****党的十八大和十八届三中全会精神，积极贯彻中央“八项规定〞、“六项禁令〞，从思想上、组织上与党委保持一致，与政府高度统一，一切按照法律、法规办事。一年来，镇人大主席团积极主动参与全镇各项中心工作，如景观大道提升建设、农村环境整治、特色农业开展、生态建设等等，积极有效的配合政府工作，切实履行职责。
〔三〕做好来访工作，解决群众困难
“群众利益无小事〞，受理群众的来信接访工作是我们人大主席团联系人民群众的桥梁和纽带。依法做好信访工作，保证百姓的合法权利不受侵害，是我们义不容辞的责任。

为此我们进一步完善了主席团成员联系代表小组、代表联系群众、代表小组活动、代表接待日等制度，提高了人大工作的标准化、制度化、法制化水平，保证了人大各项工作依法有序开展。主席团积极做好群众的来信来访接待工作，将每周一和周三定为人大主席团成员接访日，接待群众来访并将接访情况向人大主席团汇报。今年以来，共受理群众来信11件，接访12余人次，转办函件3起，已全部办结，在化解社会矛盾，维护社会稳定，听取群众呼声，保护人民群众利益方面做出应有的奉献。
〔四〕发挥代表作用，带着群众致富
人大主席团在镇党委的领导下，积极引导人大代表参与到新赤土店建设中来，鼓励代表在经济建设中发挥模范带头作用，调动了代表们的积极性和主动性。一年来，在经济建设中涌现出了一大批先进典型：公主坪、花园、白沙洞代表带着群众种植中药材，种植茱苓2万穴、茯苓1万穴 、开展绞股蓝试验田20余亩；清河堂村***种蛋繁育基地，规模扩大至2万只；奥达特食用菌公司在花园、白沙洞开展有机农作物种植面积400余亩；赤土店村培育红叶石楠150亩，培育桃树苗100亩，赤土店村、刘竹村围绕红豆杉做文章分别建立了红豆杉疗养基地和红豆杉老年康乐园，带动当地群众开展红豆杉种植及效劳业。
一年来，镇人大主席团在党委的正确领导下，在全体代表的共同努力下，取得了一定成绩，
