A Disastrous Earthquake
A disastrous earthquake hit Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province and several other provinces of China at 4:23 . on May 12, 2008. This disaster has been the worst since Tang Shan earthquake in 1976. It caused about 90,000 deaths and thousands of people got injured. The unexpected outbreakturned Wenchuan and Beichuan into ruins,leaving many children homeless orphans. Considering the severe situation, Chinese government plans to lay 70 billion yuan in the rescue work and help comes from all over the world.
