Interim Financial Reporting
FRS 34 Interim Financial Reporting was issued by DG in January 2003 and consequential amendments were made in July and September 2004.
This Standard is operative for financial statements covering periods beginning on or after 1st October 2001.

Financial Reporting Standard 34 Interim Financial Reporting (FRS 34) is set out in paragraphs 1-46. All the paragraphs have equal authority. FRS 34 should be read in the context of its objective, the Preface to the Financial Reporting Standards and the Framework for the Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements. FRS 8 Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors provides a basis for selecting and applying accounting policies in the absence of explicit guidance.
