二、地理位置
刘官庄镇位于莒县县城西南部，东邻沭河，西与沂南县交界，南与夏庄镇接壤，北与城阳镇、浮来山镇毗邻，206国道南北纵贯镇区，335省道自镇区北侧穿过，县道刘兰路和莒竹路分别经过镇区中部和西侧。
全镇总面积86．6平方公里，其中耕地面积6．1万亩，辖64个行政村，总人口6．6万人。
三、历史沿革
本镇1929年属莒县第一区，1942年属莒中县旺疃区、高坊区，1944年属莒中县沭西区，1951年改称第二区，1955年称竹园区，1958年3月更名李家楼乡，同年9月改名超美人民公社，1959年并为浮来山人民公社，1961年由浮来山人民公社析出而立为刘家官庄人民公社，1962年12月改名刘家官庄区，1971年再称为刘家官庄人民公社，1984年6月更名为刘家官庄乡，1993年4月改称刘家官庄镇。
刘官庄镇因驻地刘家官庄而得名，刘家官庄村有清光绪34年立石碑，碑文“增福官庄”，据传，明嘉靖年间张氏建村，取吉祥义“增福官庄”。清宣统二年，刘氏人户兴旺，以刘西光为首改名刘家官庄。
