有光泽，着色一致，萼片紫色，萼下浅紫红色。果肉较疏松，耐老熟，种子少，平均产量 t · hm-2。
抗倒伏、耐热、耐旱、采收期长，适宜于西南片区露地长采收嫁接栽培。

A New Eggplant Cultivar‘Yuqie 5’

Abstract：‘Yuqie 5’is a new eggplant hybrid developed by crossing 11-45-11-1-2-1 as the female
parent and 194-1-2 as the male parent. The fruit is long cylindric with smooth and shining purplish black
peel，36 cm in length， cm in diameter，330 g in weight per fruit. Its calyx is purple，the peel color under
calyx is purplish red. Its pulp is loose and with a few seeds in it. The average yield is 67 980 kg · hm-2.
‘Yuqie 5’has lodging resistance，heat and drought tolerance. It is suitable for long harvest and grafting
cultivation in open field in Southwestern China.
