Abstract：The new medicinal gardenia cultivar‘Yuzhi 2’，breeded from the excellent individual plant
7-2，which was grown with narrow leaves and white flowers of single petal in Chongqing. The fruit
matured in late November with yellow-red color，and the average vertical and horizontal diameter of the
dried fruit was cm and cm. The yield of dried fruit was 2 142 kg
