Abstract ITER International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor is the largest international cooperating program

which is being participated in by China. CICC Cable-In-Conduit Conductors conductor was deemed to be the pre-
ferred conductor for ITER program due to its lower ac loss. The structure and the cabling process of the CICC conduc-
tor are introduced in this paper. The technique route of cabling has been established. The cabling process and the
controlling especially the diameter of the fifth-class cable are the key points for the cabling of CICC conductor. The
diameter of the CICC conductor can be controlled efficiently by multi-rolling die + half-die for diameter controlling
without injure to strands line.
