Astract: The residential area of plant landscape design is an important part of the residential landscape design. Not only does it have a landscaping function and bring ecological benefits,
more importantly, it can affect the residents psychology and visual experience. This article analyzes pares the research direction, research and research methods of currently living area plant landscape design background, and domestic and foreign plant landscape design for residential areas. Classifying residential area by function, it elaborates all kinds of green space environment and plant landscape design features. It puts forward a problem of plant landscape and gives out a development direction of plant landscape design of the residential area in domestic.
