垃圾短信问题扰民已久。2008年的央视315晚会就曝光并谴责了中国最大“垃圾王”分众无线的违规行为，垃圾短信问题受到社会各界的高度关注，08年嚷嚷要处理一批SP、堵住垃圾短信之源的***，竟然就是垃圾短信泛滥最大助推者与纵容者，贼喊捉贼的笑话终于有了最生动的现实版。
对于山东移动 ‘冒天下之大不韪’做出这样的侵害消费者权益的事情，网民纷纷表示将不再信任***，关于这些行业垄断者的抱怨与指责声浪日高，很多门户网站也纷纷设立专题报道此事件。山东移动乃至***的企业形象受到严重影响。
