山姆〔西恩·潘〕已到而立之年,但是他的智商却只相当于7岁的儿童,一次偶然的时机,他收留了一个无家可归的女子,并和她生下一个女儿-露西。但是,女儿一出世,作母亲的就不辞而别,丢下山姆和***相依为命。
看着?我是山姆?,我想起来阿甘正传,有时候智商不代表什么,简单的智商可以用简单的思维让生活变得简单,人心变得安静。随着年龄的增长,越来越认同一句话:每个人都是上帝眼中的天使。
智商只有7岁的低智人汤姆偶然有了自己的孩子。孩子的妈妈生产之后无端出走,汤姆又当妈又当爸一个人将孩子抚养到7岁,岂料孩子生日的当天他也收到法院传票,称他不能尽到父亲的职责,出于对孩子未来负责的态度,欲将孩子改判他人。汤姆就此走上了漫漫上访的道路,最终将孩子的抚养权收归己有,父女得以团圆。智商只有7岁的汤姆他们且歌且舞,有一份力所能及的工作,勉强糊口的收入,能够挡风遮雨的小屋,在自己的世界里自得其乐。貌似与世无争,无欲无求。
事情的转机是在汤姆的女儿要被改判他人,汤姆即将面临骨肉别离开始的,原本其乐融融的世界被无端打破了,智商7岁的父亲无力面对日渐长大的孩子。亲情,似乎成了一段撕扯文明和道德的丝绳,越紧固,越疼痛。最后将人逼到墙角无路可逃。
在这个世界上大自然送给每个父母最好的礼物就是孩子,在孩子心里父母健全与否、贫富与否都不关键,只要父母给孩子足够的、纯洁的爱和真诚、投入的守护,幸福的泉眼在孩子心里会喷涌出无限的快乐。时间就是生命,用充满爱的时间去保卫孩子,能延长人生短暂的生命。我们可能做不成一个伟大的人,很难成就伟大的事,但我们可以用我们伟大的爱去对待孩子和世界。
最终让父亲拿回了孩子的抚养权,开明的养父母愿意一同规划孩子的未来,一切难题似乎都有了圆满的答案。丽塔被山姆对露西深沉真挚、无条件的父爱感动,并意识到山姆和正常人一样,有权利和自己的女儿在一起。很感人,他只是单纯的想和女儿生活下去,只是想单纯的照顾女儿,每当人们质问他的时候他的
