摘要
《飘》是最著名的美国小说之一。故事发生在美国内战期间南方的种植园中。这篇文章集中在主人公思嘉丽身上表现出的判逆和艰苦创业、自强不息的精神,显示了女主人公自我意识的觉醒和对自由的追求。这部小说从战前、战中和战后三个时段详细描述思嘉丽女性意识觉醒的各个方面。战前,思嘉丽抛弃了传统女性应有的矜持和束缚,敢爱敢恨,正是她女性意识的体现。在战争期间,为了生存她抛弃了一个贵小姐应有的娇气,寻求到了经济和生活上的独立而使许多男子自愧不如。战后,她又勇敢冲破女性身上的种种枷锁,追求自我价值的实现。这篇文章给现代社会的女性新的力量使她们能够战胜困难。即使是现代社会女性要比男性忍受更多的困难,尤其是那些名人,但是她们会用她们的智慧和双手做的更好。

Femaleconsciousnessiswoman’sself-consciousnessofstatus,influenceandvalueasthesubjectintheobjectiveworld[3]Itisapersonalmotivetostimulatewomen’spursuitforindependence,freedom,initiative,,femaleconsciousnessmeanswomenwakeupandfulfillherhistoricalmission,socialresponsibility,personalobligation;meanwhiletheyknowtheirself-’’smanifestinfourmainaspects:womenrealizethemselvesasthesubjectsinthesociety,thisrealizationisoneoftheuniversalattributestohumanbeings,accordingtohumanbeings’overallnecessitiestoestablishtheirlivesspontaneously;theyrealizewomen’sspecial

qualitiesandportrayarealfemalequalityinharmonywiththeirphysiologyandpsychology;theyunderstandandplayavarietyofrolesinbalance;theyregardsmanproperlyandcanworkwithmaninharmony[4].Ithinkthestandardsofwakeningshouldincludethesexconsciousness,whichrequireswomentobeself-respective、self-confidentbutnotself-abased、self-flabby;theycantakeacorrectjudgmentonthetwosexes,insistingonsexualequality,butnotmalesuperioritynorfemaleinferiorityorwomansupremacists;thefemalegroupsconsciousness’awakeningbeginwithself-respect,self-confidence,independence,andtowardstofemalegroups’self-reliance.
