The Analysis of Contradiction in Scarleet Personality
ABSTRACT
Gone with the wind is the masterpiece of the American writer, Margaret Mitchell. It caused a sensation in the word literary when it first had been published. Especially the character of Scarleet who the writer sculptured in the novel gave the deep impression to the readers. The story happened in the civil war. This story showed a various character though the meticulous description of Scarleet'emotion word. This paper analyzed the personality of Scarleet though three stages, before the war, in the war and after the war. Innocent before the war, shrewdness in the war and adamancy after the war, all of the character in Scarleet gave the deep impression to the readers.
