His mother noticed his sensitivity to music and took him to piano lessons at when he was three.
Jay Chou grew up in Linkou,Taipei, his parents were secondary school teacher.
His parents discovered when he was 13,which caused him to e reclusive and introverted.
Although he had friends,he often preferred to be to music,contemplating and daydreaming.
Jay practiced piano beautifully,and by the time he reached high school,he could improvise(即兴创作)with many songs.
Jacky Wu dicovered that Jay had a musical talent after seeing position in petition.
Jay first entered the music
industry when he appeared
in a talent show with his
friend, where he panied
as the pianist. They failed miserably
in making a mark on television, but the producer saw the line notes written by Jay was good, so he decided to
take a chance
on him.
Due to Jay’s looks not being good enough for the instant stardom that many of his colleagues could easily attain, he was initially hired pose songs and write lyrics for others, including Vivian Hsu and Jolin Tsai. Many of his songs became instant hits, though most
people were not aware that they were his creations.
