Abstract:Objective To genotype the predominant species trichophyton rubrum isolated from the feet and the infected hand
of the two feet one hand dermatophytosis patients and to p豫sume the route of transmlssion by the Clinical
triehophyton rubmm isolates were genotyped by PCR amplification of tandermly repetive elements(TRSs),TRS-1,from the ribosomal
DNA nontranscribed spacer region(NTS)。Results A total of 229 isolates was genotyped:173 isolated from 63 two feetone
hand dermatophytosis and 56 isolates from 15 two feet two hands dermatophytosis。In 80%c88es the isolates from the feet and
the hand(or hands)had the same genotypes。Genotype distribudon had
nO statistieal difference between the two feet one hand dermamphy
重osis and two feet two hands dermatophytosis。Conclusion In the two feet one hand dermatophytosis,the pathogen from
the infected hand es from the feet.
