In general
The article is a review of a performance of the opera Turandot in Beijing. To warm up Ss are presented with pictures of director Zhang Yimou and the opera Turandot. And if possible, some related videos. Then Ss will do brain-storming activity pare literary review and guess what they will read in the article. With the hints given by the teacher, Ss go on to do skimming and find what basic genre elements are included in the article. To ensure their full participation and understating, divide Ss into groups to discuss the structure of the whole article and share information with each other. After that, cool the Ss with task-based activity C1 to train their ability of detailed reading. At last, further reading will be done to recite the plot with the help of C2.
