In general
In e to the unit, four pictures and two major questions are all students can access to in the textbook. However, students are supposed to do a lot of talking and discussing about historic sites here. To warm up, students are asked to name as many Chinese or foreign historic sites as possible. Also, if possible, some students with a certain experience of visiting a historic site can make a short presentation with the help of the teacher. Then get them to enjoy the pictures on and get more imagination about the four historic sites by answering the relevant questions raised by the teacher. With the hints given by the teacher, the Ss will be quite clear about the information of these four ones. To ensure their full participation, another task is given— to discuss in g
