Research on Hot-rolled and High-strength Steel of 490MPa

Abstract According to the use of axle housing characteristics on automotive steel, composition was
designed; experimental research on different hot -rolled processes of finishing temperature and coiling
temperature for niobium and titanium microalloying steel in 1 450 hot -rolled mill were carried out.
Combined with technical requirements of the axle housings steel, the influences of position,
process parameters and microstructure to axle housing steel’ s properties were analyzed. The chemical
composition and suitable process system for production conditions in Pangang were determined. And
490MPa axle housing of hot-rolled stamping special steel was researched and developed on this basis.
