The analysis of liquid ammonia storage tank of major hazard risk Abstract:Based on the chemical characteristics of liquid ammonia,the paper made environ mental risk assessment of accidental leaking of liquid ammonia storage tank in a chemical industry construction project in changzhou analyzed the features of the related behavior of the liquid ammonia when it leaked in to the atmosphere and then made quantified calculation forth extending area and hazardous radius of the generated gaseous ammonia calculation proved that the accidental leaking would be serious,for example,the leak speed o f the liquid ammonia w as ,the flash evaporation speed was11 k g/s,the heat evaporation speed w as76 .76 kg /s and the quality evaporation speed w a s population within 350 meters apart from the ammonia storage tank must be evacuated.

氨是化工生产过程中的重要原料。氨气属可燃性气体,同时又是有毒物质,常温常压下易溶于水形成氨水,加压易被液化为无色液体。为便于储存和运输,工业上通常采用常温高压或低温加压的方式将氨液化。氨的危险l生表现如下:
(1)氨气的物理性质表现为无色、有刺激性恶臭味,分子式N H3,, g/L,熔点-℃,℃,℃,遇火源会引发火灾或爆炸。液氨蒸气与空气混合物爆炸极限16 %~25 %(最易引燃浓度17 %),溶于***仿、***,是许多元素和化合物的良好溶剂。
(2)液氨的化学性质表现为水溶液呈碱性。液态氨将侵蚀某些塑料制品、橡胶和涂层。液氨遇热、明火等难以点燃,其危险性较低,但氨和空气混合物达到16 %~25 %浓度范围时遇明火会燃烧和爆炸,如有油类或其它可燃性物质存在,则危险性更高。液氨不能与乙醛、丙烯醛、硼、卤素、双氧水等物质共存。
