例: 101:one hundred and one
999:nine hundred and y-nine
1001: one thousand and one
8456:eight thousand four hundred and fifty-six
18657421:eighteen million six hundred and fifty-seven thousand four hundred and twenty-one
表示具体、准确的数目时,hundred, thousand, million等词后不能加-s,如:five hundred, six thousand, seven thousand, seven million 等。
当hundred, thousand等数词与of 连用,表示不具体、不准确的数目时,词尾须加-s。如:thousands of students, millions of trees.
序数词
表示年龄
I am fifty-five years old. 或者 I am fifty five. 我55岁。
10岁: ten years old/ten. The boy is ten years old/ten.
29岁:She is twenty-nine (years old).
表示时间
整点
8点:eight o’clock I go to work at eight (o’clock).
非整点
半个小时以内包括半个小时都用几点几分表示,用到past这个词:
7点10分:ten past seven 8点一刻:a quarter past eight
9点半:half past nine
半个小时以后,用介词to来表示:
7点差2分(6点58分):two to seven
8点差一刻:a quarter to eight 9点差18分:eighteen to nine
简单表示法:直接用基数词表示:
1:20=one twenty; 9:30=nine thirty; 8:23=eight twenty-three
表示年代、年、月、日
年代
形式:the+基数词复数形式:30年代:the thirties
在上个世纪的90年代:in the ies of the last century
年月日
年用基数词表示: 1999: in een y-nine
日用序数词表示:在1号:on the first; 在23号:on the twenty-third
表示月份不用基数词也不用序数词,有属于表达月份自己的单词:January(一月) February(二月) March(三月) April(四月) May(五月)
June (六月) July(七月) August (八月) September (九月)
October(十月) November (十一月) December (十二月)

应该是:月日年或者日月年

表示房间号
