Hematopoietic and lymphoid tissues include:
Myeloid tissue: marrow and hematopoietic cells.
Lymphoid tissue: thymus, spleen, lymph node and the other scatted lymphoid tissues.
The normal lymph node
Lymph folicules
Paracortex, PCV
Medullary sinus
Introduction
These diseases involved:
Quantity changes:
↓:anemia, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia;
↑:leucocytosis (reactive), thrombocytosis
Quality changes:malignant tumor
These diseases don’t confine to a single anatomic site.
eg: lymph node lymphoma
→marrow, blood (lymphocytic leukemia).
→liver, spleen.
