Three main themes emerge – from both a customer & OEM perspective:
Increased equipment life and performance
Cost savings through energy saving predictions
Increased uptime of equipment
Our response will be focussed around :
Strong OEM Relationships - need to influence thinking of selected OEMs wrt use of “filled-for-life” bearings, oil pressors, etc. Need additional FLTSs resource to support this
Actively pursue First Fill opportunities to increase volume & improve influence – require substantiated CVPs & DVRs of top-tier Cassida products
3. Develop differentiated products with better energy efficiency, increased life, better protection etc – Cassida HFS & Cassida GLS – will prehensive subtantiated DVRs
Base oils – will assess GTL to see if COGS reduction possible (ie back out PAO 6 & 8 and replace with GTL 5 or 8)
Seek alternative additive suppliers to drive down costs & improve effectiveness
