Talk about a special day that you remember.
Step 2
Read Emma’s diary and put the events in time order.
Step 3
Read the diary again and answer the questions.
Step 4
Read again and Work in pairs, ask and answer questions about Emma’s day.
Step 5
Think about a special day that you remember. Use the list of titles to help you.
Step 6
Write some notes about what happened that day. List the events in time order.
Step 7
Look at the day’s events. Which events are the most interesting? Which are the funniest? Circle these events.
Step 8
Ask students to write a special day using the events listed and make the Reading as a model.
Step 9
Give two samples.
Step 10
Tell the class about your special day.
