β-地中海贫血是一种以慢性溶血为特点的遗传性溶血性贫血,属珠蛋白合成障碍性贫血。它广泛分布在地中海沿岸、东南亚各国,我国南方发病率较高,该病严重危害小儿健康和人口素质的提高,目前尚无有效的治疗方法。我们根据中医肾藏精生髓、精血同源的理论,采用补肾益髓法的代表方药(益髓生血颗粒)在广西高发区治疗该病取得肯定疗效。为进一步观察益髓生血颗粒治疗β-地中海贫血的临床效果,在广西南宁和百色地区组织病例,采用自身对照比较研究方法,对30例重型、中间型β-地中海贫血患者先服安慰剂再服益髓生血颗粒,动态检测血液指标和临床症状,观察结果报道如下。
