摘要: 随着时代的发展,城市化在世界各国普遍展开,我国也逐步走上了城市化道路。但是我国是发展中国家,起步晚、基础薄弱,要在借鉴其他国家城市化发展的经验、结合中国的经济发展现状,走出一条有中国特色的城市化道路。当前我国正处于城市化发展的加速时期,尤其是小城镇的建设是我国社会主义新农村建设的重点,也是解决我国未来50年近5亿乡村人口的“进城”问题的有益途径。因此在我国这样一个人口众多、城市化发展又加速的背景下,研究世界城市化,特别是发达国家城市化进程的经验教训即具有重要的现实意义。

Urbanization Process in China: Retrospect and Prospect

Abstract: With the development of the times, urbanization generally begins in every country of the world, and our country has also gradually stepped onto the urbanized path. But our country is the developing nation, starting late, and has weak foundation. On the experience of other countries experiences, combined with the development of urbanization in China's economic development ,our country will be on the Chinese characteristic urbanized path. Our country is in a period of accelerating urban development, particularly the construction of small towns being the focus of the construction of a new socialist countryside in China, it is also a useful way to solve the problem of "city" nearly 500 million rural population in the next 50 years Therefore, in our such a large population country, on the the background of the development of accelerating urbanization ,the research on the world urbanization, especially the process of urbanization in the developed countries has important practical significance.

引言:城市是以非农业人口和非农产业为主的人类聚居地,是一定地域范围内的政治、经济、文化中心。20世纪是城市化进程迅速推进的世纪,21世纪是人类城市化进程的一个全新时代。中国作为世界上人口最多的发展中国家,目前正处于城市化加速发展时期。中国的城市化将是21世纪令世人瞩目的历史性社会结构变革。
