普通论文一般为10~15个汉字或12~22个英文单词,学位论文可稍长一些。
美国《新英格兰医学杂志》在稿约中规定:“必要时给目录写一个限制在75个字母之间的短题”。
若能用1行文字表达,就尽量不要用2 行(超过2行有可能会削弱读者的印象)
