A. Be familiar with the structure of the light microscope
B. Master the use of the light microscope.
C. Understand the procedures of paraffin sectioning and H & E staining.
The structure of the microscope

Normal ocular lenes: 10×
Normal Objective lenes: 4× ,10× ,40×
oil immersion objective: 100×
Total magnification is obtained by multiplying the
magnifying power of the objective and ocular lenes.
Procedure of observation
First ,observe the contour, morphology and the staining of the specimen with naked eyes.
Second, observe the general structure and ponents with low power objective.
Third , then select a representative area and observe it in detail with high power objective, then with the oil immersion lens when necessary.
Make a drawing of the representative area and labeled it clearly.
