代词在具体的语境中运用起来往往具有很大的灵活性, 高考对代词的考查更是灵活多变。各地试题在单项填空题中对代词则百考不“厌”。代词的考点主要集中在:
1. 考查代词在特定结构中的用法, 如:anyone, both, neither, nothing等与从句相结合。
2. 考查any, some, all, none, other, another等不定代词在特定语境中的意义和功能差别。

3. 考查it, one, that, ones, those作替代词的用法区别。
4. 考查it表示时间、天气、距离等以及it作形式主语、形式宾语的用法。
5. 考查each, every, any的用法。
6. 考查在特定的语境中代词的数、性、格的变化。
2012年高考对代词的考查将继续沿着两条主线进行:加强语境的真实性和复杂性;加强对语义较丰富、语法较复杂的不定代词的考查。
