襄阳是汉水之滨的一座历史文化名城,其文化源远流长、地理位置特殊,先后为汉末
荆州州治,唐代山南道、山南东道治所及宋代京西南路的治首,因此成为历代众多政治文
化名人任职、游宦之地。代表唐宋文学辉煌成就的文学群体——唐宋八大家或任职襄阳,
或宦履襄阳,他们有的通过政绩直接造福当地百姓、有的探访多处人文胜迹并记之。考论
唐宋八大家在襄阳的行迹及其创作对研究他们各自生平、思想、交游,探讨襄阳文化在唐
宋时期的发展状况有重要的意义。
襄阳的政治、军事、经济、文化状况是唐宋八大家歌咏襄阳的历史基础,历代本土、
宦游名人及风景胜地是八大家襄阳作品歌咏的主题。唐宋时期襄阳的社会发展状况是唐宋
八大家的现实生活环境,也是他们创作的直接来源。欧阳修、曾巩先后在襄阳任职,其他
六家因自身仕途变迁及襄阳本身作为地域性政治、交通中心而多次来往于此。八大家在任
职或宦游襄阳期间目睹、身感襄阳之政事、人文,并发而为文。离开襄阳后,或受人之托、
或与襄阳友人交游,创作了大量有关襄阳的文学作品。这些作品既反映了他们的思想及交
游状况,也描绘了当时襄阳的社会状态及文化流传情形。唐宋八大家的行迹与创作既推动
了襄阳社会的发展,也促进了襄阳文化的传承。
据笔者不完全统计,唐宋八大家有关襄阳的文学作品数量为一百九十三首(篇),其中
诗一百一十八首,词六首,文六十九篇。由于不少为交游唱和之作,在歌咏同一对象时,
引用的典故基本相同,因此在注解时对同一歌咏对象只选取一个或几个有典型特征及代表
意义的作品进行笺注。

The Research of XiangYang and the Eight Famous Writers
of the Tang and Song Dynasty
ABSTRACT
XiangYang is a famous historic city located by the Hang river. It has long cultural history.
Besides, as for its special location, it was set to be the province of Jingzhou in the late Hang.
Then it became the province of Shannandao and Shannandongdao in Tang dynasty. It was also
the province of Jingxinanlu in Song dynasty. Therefore, there were many distinguished
politicians worked in XiangYang and many cultural celebrities traveled in here. In Tang and
Song dynasty, there was a literature group called the Eight Famous Writers of Tang and Song.
This literature group represented the highest achievement in literary. Some of them worked in
the government of XiangYang and helped the XiangYang people directly. Others travelled in
XiangYang and visited the places of historic interest and scenic beauty there. They narratived
their political achievements, or introduced the celebrities, the anecdotes, the historical sites and
so on in their works. Doing the research of the deeds of the Eight Famous Writers of Tang and
Song in XiangYang or their masterpieces about XiangYang means a lot, for example, help us to
know about their life experiences, their psycholog
