Abstract: The design measures on the vacuum system of Ⅲ- effect evaporation are suggested by ana
lyzing and discussing a few factors effecting the vacuum tightness of Ⅲ- effect in diaphragm caustic soda
evaporation system. The p rocess is emphatically introduced about using the low - lift and large - flow
pump s as the water charging pump s of the barometric condensers, as well as the technic imp rovement
measures by discharging incondensable gas through by - pass p ipes during normal running without operat
ing ejector vacuum pump s.
