学科综合发展的产物可以说当今的地理信息系统规模更大能够综合各种系统
能满足更多用户的需要地理信息系统的广泛应用使地理信息的共享和交换成为
新的趋势一个开放的易于访问的地理信息系统将有利于地理信息在不同用户
不同系统之间的交流实现数据和服务的广泛共享
国际互联网的迅速普及为地理信息系统提供了新的发展机遇万维网地理信息
系统 Web Geographical Information System 简称 WebGIS 已经成为 GIS 技术的
研究热点目前用于开发 WebGIS 的方法有许多种常用的有 CGI/Server API(通
用网关接口/服务器应用程序接口) 插件法(Plug-In) Java Applet/ActiveX 由于具
有技术成熟容易开发等特点目前基于 CGI/Server API 的 WebGIS 仍然得到了广
泛的应用同时考虑到我国目前网络状况问题我们提出了客户端采用插件技术
服务器端采用 CGI/Server API 技术的 WebGIS 解决方案并给出了利用 MapGuide
开发的珠海市公共信息查询系统的实现方案和实验结果为利用 MapGuide 开发相
关 WebGIS 应用作些研究
本系统已经投入试运行实际运行结果表明系统设计合理软件功能完善
操作维护方便运行可靠完全能满足公众要求达到了预期的效果

Abstract
The Geographical Information System (GIS) has been developing for over 40 years,
and it is widely used. It turns to be prehensive system puter science,
geography, survey, remote sense, and cartography. Today, the GIS es more large
than the before and it can interoperate with other systems so that to plicated
tasks. The expansion of GIS enables the share and exchange of spatial data. A geographic
information system with open interface will promote the exchange spatial data between
users and systems.
The spread of provide a new opportunity for GIS, WebGIS has been a
hotspot of GIS technology. Nowadays, there are many methods for WebGIS development
such as CGI/Server mon Gateway Interface/Server Application Programming
Interface , Plug-In and Java Applet/ActiveX. At present, the WebGIS based on
CGI/Server API still has been applied widely because this method is steady-going and
easy to use. Considering the work situation, we presents a WebGIS model
based on CGI/Server API on Server and Plug-In on Client. Lastly, we give an application
instance of this model in mon Information Query System of Zhuhai city based on
MapGuide.
This system is already bringing into service, the applied results prove that the system
