Undergraduate Program for Specialty in History
一、培养目标
Objectives
本专业培养具有良好的马克思主义史学理论素养、系统的专业基础知识与技能,熟悉本学科前沿研究状况,有进一步深造潜力的历史学专门人才,以及能在国家行政机关、文教事业、新闻出版、文博档案管理部门以及各类企事业单位从事实际工作的应用型、复合型专门人才。
The program is designed to bring up versatile graduates with system knowledge in history. The students are required to master basic methods and techniques in the field, and be familiar with relevant disciplines. The graduates will be versatile enough to embark on careers in education, scientific research, administration, compilation and publishing, etc.
二、培养要求及特色
Objectives
本专业毕业生应该具备以下几方面的知识和能力:
系统掌握历史科学的基本理论,熟悉中国历史和世界历史发展的基本史实与研究动态。
掌握史学研究的基本技能与方法。
具有较强的古汉语阅读理解能力,以及较好的口头表达与文字表达能力。
较好地掌握一门外国语,能顺利地阅读专业书刊和查阅专业文献。
具备一定的相关的人文社会科学学科,尤其是人类学、民族学学科的基本知识。
熟悉中国民族史、民族关系史的基本史实,对该领域的研究现状有较好的了解。
Students of this program will:
1. master basic theories in history discipline, and be familiar with basic historical events in China and in the world and the present studies on them;
2. master basic skills and methods in historical research;
3. have paratively strong ability in reading classic Chinese, and be capable of expressing efficiently orally or in writing;
4. master a foreign language and can read relevant documents concerning their studies;
5. acquire knowledge about relevant humanities and social sciences, especially about anthropology and ethnology;
6. be familiar with basic events in the history of Chinese munities and history of ethnic relations, and understand present studies concerning these fields.
